QUANTITATIVE SCHEDULE RISK ANALYSIS (QSRA)

QSRA empowers firms to make informed decisions. It connects activity risk information to the project schedule and encompasses both the concepts of uncertainty and risk within a project plan. It utilises Monte Carlo methods to provide a probabilistic forecast and associated confidence interval with project completion dates. Alongside confidence in finish dates, our QSRA package highlights ‘sensitive’ tasks which are considered the most volatile on the project. This allows for the client-side project manager to identify any potential causes and implement mitigating processes.

Our QSRA service offers more than just a report to attach to a tender. We offer a tailored educational package to not only highlight the benefits of QSRA but to also enable our clients to use the outputs effectively.

Our QSRA package includes:

  • Educational seminars on:

    • The QSRA process

    • The benefits of QSRA

    • The high-level theory behind the analysis

    • How to get the most from a QSRA

  • Workshops for the purpose of:

    • Obtaining all information needed to run the QSRA

    • Challenging the current schedule and preparing it for analysis

    • Identifying risks (in conjunction with the client-side Project Manager/Planner)

    • A follow up session after each iteration to discuss what can be taken from the QSRA outputs

  • A tailored report including:

    • All output information, presented in an easy to read format

    • QSRA output graphs - to show where the information is derived from

At INTOS we believe that without a basic understanding of QSRA, it cannot be used effectively and eliminates its sole purpose – to inform.
